Plenary 1	Drug screening and oncology drug discovery
	유전체 분석법과 대규모 데이터를 분석 방법이 빠르게 발전하여, 종양 생물학에 대한 이해가 넓어질 뿐 아니라 이러한 정보를 종양학 약제 개발에 직접 적용하는 것이 가능하게 되었다. Todd R. Golub 박사는 현재 Broad Institute의 소장으로 재직하고 있으며, 유전체 분석 기법과 종양 생물학, 약물 개발을 연결하는 세계적인 석학으로, 이번 강연에서 이 분야의 최신 발전상을 소개해 줄 것이다.

Plenary 2	AI based precision medicine
	Fabrice André 교수는 유럽에 기반을 둔 저명한 breast cancer oncologist로 잘 알려져있으며 현재 프랑스 Institut Gustave Roussy의 암연구센터장 및 ESMO의 중개연구/정밀의료 working group의 chair을 역임하고 있다. 유방암 분야에서 수많은 권위있는 연구를 진행하였고, 특히 SAFIR-01 및 -02 등 전이성 유방암 환자에서 개인의 유전자 변이를 기반으로 하는 맞춤 치료의 중요성을 강조하는 연구를 필두로 하여 암 치료의 정밀의료 시대를 선도하기도 하였다. 이번 plenary lecture에서는 정밀의료의 현 주소와 앞으로 나아가야할 방향에 대한 메시지를 전달하고, 더불어 다가오는 맞춤치료 시대에 인공지능 (Artificial Intelligence: AI) 을 기반으로 한 유전체 정보의 분석 및 해석, 나아가 바이오마커 발굴 및 신약 개발이 갖는 의미와 중요성을 소개하는 흥미로운 시간이 될 것이다.

Plenary 3	Mechanism-based biomarkers for PD-1 blockade in cancer therapy
	Suzanne Topalian 교수는 종양치료에 있어 종양면역 분야의 연구를 오랜 기간 수행하면서 종양침투 T 세포 치료 개발 및 항암치료에 필요한 T세포의 특징들을 규명하였다. 또한 항암치료 표적으로써 T 세포의 활성화 기전에 주목하여, PD-1/PD-L1 경로 억제제에 대한 많은 임상연구를 이끌어 왔다. Topalian 교수의 금번 기조강연의 주제는 항PD-L1 면역항암요법의 작용기전에 기반한 바이오마커 개발에 대한 내용이다.

Plenary 4	Harnessing DNA repair defects for cancer therapy
	Alan Ashworth 교수는 UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center의 센터장이자 UCSF Health의 Cancer Services 의 수석 부회장이다. 그는 UCSF에 합류하기 전에 영국의 암 연구소(ICR)의 CEO와 Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre의 소장을 역임했다. 종양생물학자로서 그의 연구는 유방암 유전학을 이해하여 환자의 치료와 관리를 개선하는 데 중점을 두고 있다. 그의 주요 공헌 중 하나는 일부 유형의 암에 대한 위험 증가와 관련된 BRCA2 유방암 감수성 유전자를 발견한 것이다. 이후, 그는 BRCA1 및 2 변이가 있는 종양 세포에 손상된 DNA 복구 기전을 억제함으로써 세포 사멸을 유도하는 PARP 억제제를 적용함으로써 새로운 종양치료의 장을 열었다. 이번 미팅에서 그는 '암 치료를 위한 DNA 복구 결함 활용'에 대한 강연을 할 예정이다.

Tissue-agnostic therapeutics
종양학에서 정밀의학의 발전은 조직불문(tissue-agnostic)으로 알려진 개념인, 원발 부위와 관계없는 다양한 종양에 대한 표적 치료제에 연구를 제공하였다. 이러한 치료는 종양 위치나 조직 유형이 아니라 분자 특성에 기반하였고, 이에 대한 이해가 향상됨에 따라 표적 치료법과 조직불문 치료법의 개발에서 엄청난 도약이 이루어졌다. 이번 세션에서 면역관문 억제제, TRK 억제제, KRAS 억제제의 앞으로의 전망과 암종불문(tumor-agnostic)적 접근을 위한 새로운 임상 시험 디자인에 대해 논의할 예정이다.

Proteomics & epigenomics – Updates, clinical application, clinical trial
최근 암의 분류, 예후 관련 바이오마커의 발굴에 proteomics 와 epigenomics 분석의 결과가 활발히 이용되고 있다. 특히, 미국의 CPTAC (Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium) 주도로 진행한 연구에서는 미국 FDA 에 승인을 받는 임상적 유용성을 확인한 검사가 정립되기도 했는데 이번 세션에서는 이 분야 석학들을 모시고 proteomics 와 epigenomics 분야의 최신 연구 결과들과 의의를 공유해 보고자 한다.

비뇨기암 세션은 주요 분야인 전립선암, 신장암, 요로상피세포암에서의 각각의 최신의 연구 결과들을 update하는 내용으로 구성하였다. 최신의 연구 결과와 함께 실제적인 진료 환경에서 적용을 고민해 볼 수 있는 내용으로 준비하였다. 전립선암과 신장암에서 최근의 치료 발전을 준비하였고, 요로상피세포암은 면역관문치료를 이용한 maintenance 치료 전략과 요로상피세포암의 중요한 target molecule로서 여러 치료 단계에서 효과가 확인된 FGFR targeted therapy에 대한 내용으로 구성하였다.

Big data & AI: Cancer genome & diagnosis
최근 차세대 염기서열분석 (NGS)의 도입 이후 암 진단 및 치료에 인공지능 (AI) 과 머신 러닝을 이용한 기술이 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 약물내성을 유발하는 새로운 바이오마커를 발굴하고 새로운 타겟을 검출하여 치료 효과를 높이는 것은 암 치료에 있어서 매우 중요하다. NGS는 관련성 있고 임상적으로 중요한 데이터를 분석하기위해 전문적인 대규모 데이터세트를 생성한다. 하지만, 임상의가 일상적인 진료현장에서 이러한 데이터를 해석하고 사용하는 데는 여전히 큰 어려움이 있다. 이번 세션에서는 이 분야의 석학들을 모시고 정밀 종양학에서 AI를 적용하는 현재의 상황을 소개하고 의의를 공유해보고자 한다.

New horizons of clinical immuno-oncology in early-stage cancer
최근 면역항암제의 효용성은 점차 early-stage cancer로 확대되고 있다. 지난 수년간 진행성⋅전이성 암에서 immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs)의 성공을 목격하였듯이, 이제는 한 발짝 더 나아가 early-stage cancer 환자들의 완치 기회를 증폭시킬 시점이 아닐까? 그러한 의미에서 이번 세션에서는 국내외 expert들과 함께 Neoadjuvant 및 adjuvant ICIs 치료의 현 주소를 점검하고, 향후 보다 효율적인 적용을 위해 무엇보다 중요한 biomarker issue에 대하여 고찰해보고자 한다. 나아가, 최근 많은 관심을 받고있는 intratumoral immunotherapy에 대한 경험을 함께 공유할 수 있는 흥미로운 시간이 될 것이다.

Clinical genomics
NGS 기술 및 관련 데이터 처리 기술이 발전하면서 우리는 암의 발생과 진행에 관여하는 유전자에 대해 많은 것을 이해하게 되었고 치료의 패러다임을 바꾸는 혁명적인 변화를 주도하고 있다. 이러한 지식과 기술의 발전을 어떻게 환자 진료에 접목시킬 수 있을지 고민할 필요가 있다. 이번 세션은 세계 각국에서 진행중인 clinical genomics 프로젝트의 현황을 공유하고 한국 실정에 맞는 모델 개발을 위해 어떤 노력이 더 필요한지 모색하는 시간이 될 것이다.

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma
KSMO 2022의 미만성거대B세포림프종(diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, DLBCL) session은 2022년 4월 국내에서 CAR-T cell therapy (Tisagenlecleucel, Kymriah)가 재발한 DLBCL에서 보험을 받게 되면서 DLBCL에 대한 관심이 높아진 시점에서 시기적절한 session 이다. 강의 내용도 알차게 준비하여 기초분야에는 병리 조직과 분자유전학적 분류에 대한 강의를, 임상분야에서는 CAR-T와 bispecific antibody에 대한 내용으로 구성하였다. 국내외의 훌륭한 석학분들을 어렵게 초청하여 마련한 만큼 DLBCL에 대한 최신 지견을 접할 수 있는 의미 있는 시간이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma
식도암은 남성 암사망의 6번째 원인이면서 전세계적으로도 가장 사망률이 높은 암이다. 특히 서양에서 많이 발생하는 선암에 비하여 동아시아 환자들에게는 편평상피암이 식도암의 대부분을 차지한다. 이번 대한종양내과학회의 다학제 치료 세션에서는 4분의 식도암치료의 전문가들이 수술, 방사선치료의 최신지견, 그리고 면역항암제를 포함한 전신약물치료의 업데이트 등, 식도암의 최신 지견에 대해서 논할 것이다.

Clinical development of radioligand therapy (RLT)
Radioligand therapy (RLT)는 종양 표적에 선택적으로 방사선을 전달하여 종양세포의 사멸을 유도하는 치료법이다. 최근 관련 기술의 발전으로 신경내분비종양과 전립선암을 포함한 다양한 종양에 승인되어 사용되고 있으며, 향후 적용 범위는 더 넓어질 것으로 기대된다. 이 세션에서는 국내외의 저명한 연자들이 RLT의 도입과 발전, 신경내분비종양과 전립선암에서의 임상 데이터, 발전 방향과 향후 전망 등을 심도 있게 다룰 것이다.
